RA positions available in The University of Hong Kong (HKU). 已有2人参与

Two RA (research assistant/associate) positions are available in Dr. Chuyang Y Tang’s group. Dr. Tang’s research interests including membrane technology, desalination, water treatment and wastewater reclamation, clean energy production/recovery, nano-/bio-technology enhanced separation and water chemistry. Dr. Tang has published more than 110 papers in Journal of Membrane Science, Environmental Science & Technology, Water Research, and Desalination, etc. H-index, 32. Position 1 : nanofiltration (NF) membrane preparation and applications. Applicants should have master or PhD degree in material science, chemical engineering, environmental engineering or related majors. The applicants should have some experiences either in membrane preparation (phase inversion method), membrane surface modification (such as, layer by layer, interfacial polymerization, etc), or NF membrane applications. Position 2: reverse electrodialysis (RED) study Applicants should have master or PhD degree in chemistry, material science, chemical engineering, environmental engineering or related majors. Suitable applicants should have one of the following research experiences: (1) Ion exchange membrane preparation and applications. (2) Reverse electrodialysis operations and applications. (3) Electrochemical method for the treatment of wastewater. Other requirements for the two positions: Good English skills for writing and communications Strong desire to achieve academic excellence Responsible, independent, optimistic, and hard working Good team player, willing to collaborate with other team members Interested applicants should send your CV to Dr. Tang (tangc@hku.hk).
