在测试化合物抗氧化活性时，用DPPH法测其自由基清除能力，但是JMC审稿人觉得我们的化合物应该用ORAC法来测其自由基清除活性。对于几种自由基清清除实验，到底有哪些区别？各类方法有适应的化合物吗？真的有必要把DPPH法换点改用ORAC实验吗？请各位大神指教。审稿人原话是这样的：In this case, as authors should know, the DPPH assay generates nitrogen free radicals, that are characterized to have a low reaction rate with aromatic systems, while they react very rapidly with acidic protons. For this type of derivatives, I suggest the use of the ORAC assay to characterize their scavenger properties.
