Types of Papers Peer-reviewed contributions: • Research Articles (full papers) • Short Original Communications and Discussion Articles • Review Articles • Research Communications Please ensure that the length of your paper is in harmony with your research area and with the science presented. All papers – excluding Editorials, Letters to the Editor, Book Reviews, Conference Reports – are subject to peer-review by a minimum of two and a maximum of three experts. To authors from non-English language countries: To have the best possible pre-requisition for the review process, please ask a native speaker to check the quality of the English, before you submit the complete paper. Manuscript Submission Manuscript Submission Submission of a manuscript implies: that the work described has not been published before; that it is not under consideration for publication anywhere else; that its publication has been approved by all co-authors, if any, as well as by the responsible authorities – tacitly or explicitly – at the institute where the work has been carried out. Permissions Authors wishing to include figures, tables, or text passages that have already been published elsewhere are required to obtain permission from the copyright owner(s) for both the print and online format and to include evidence that such permission has been granted when submitting their papers.
