I was passing through the exact or even worse situation as yours now.
For my own concern based on my own experience, I strongly recommend you reconsider what you want to do, or more specifically, your plan on your own career and interest.
Firstly, it is VERY IMPORTANT for you to figure out what your next step will be. To back homeland or to immigrate? To be a prof in certain uni or to be a personnel in certain company? To keep in touch with investigation out of interest or to to switch into the industry due to payoffs? These questions are your current priority to make clear, so that you will not lose your way to your home.
Second, after getting your target, it may be much easier for you to list what it takes onto a paper.
Let me just assume that you choose to find a job home as an engineer or somewhat in a company. It may ask for your techniques and some social networks (if you have) instead of experience abroad which matters little. So the optimal decision appears in front of you itself.
Another example can also go in this way. Providing that you want badly to devote your whole life to the investigation based on your own interest, it seems that studying abroad is more likely to bring you to an amazing world you have never been before, however, it also requires you to demo yourself a guy having an ambitious heart that can overcome whatever in your way such as TOEFL and GRE (or ITLTES). Plus, you may have to make your target prof impressed by your ideas on your research and publications usually act as a persuasive evidence. Then what you need to do display as well.
Here, there is one thing worth noting that going abroad may TOTALLY NOT help you get what you want from it if you ONLY go out for going out.
I hope you will understand yourself and listen to your inside voice to make the decision what you really want, and then realize it after a BLOODY EFFORT.
my best wishes, good luck! |
