[求助] 以original article投稿被Reject,但告知可以leitter改写后Resubmit，该怎么办

各位大侠，文章投出2个月后，收到编辑意见，说不能以original article 发表，但可以考虑letter 重投。但letter在学校不算文章，晋职称也没用。我是要求撤稿，还是直接转投，还是坚持重投时仍坚持original article格式？

I am very sorry for the long review process. Finally, the above referred manuscript has been carefully reviewed by the editors and referees.
We regret to have to state that, on the basis of the comments shown below, on the basis of additional confidential comments made to the editors only, and/or due to serious competition for very limited print space, we would have to reject your manuscript as a full, original paper.
However, the editors are interested in your work if it is resubmitted in greatly condensed format as a LETTER TO THE EDITOR.
LETTERS in ... are now freely accessible via PubMed to every reader! They represent full-fledged short reports.

We would be glad to receive a substantially revised version of your manuscript, condensed into this Letter format. In addition, any such revision must be accompanied by a letter answering point-by-point the reviewers' specific comments which are included below. The resubmitted version of your manuscript is subject to critical re-review. While no guarantee can be given at this time as to whether it will be published, the chances that a convincingly revised LETTER manuscript will be accepted are good.

I kindly ask you to re-submit your work into the manuscript central.

已经拒稿了，你再投稿不算一稿多投。你有拒稿信怕啥。

letter就算了，转投吧，好好的paper干什么搞成letter
