Momentive Performance Materials Inc./迈图高新材料集团的 Analytical Chemist职位，如有兴趣者，请将英文简历发送至：bruce.kong@momentive.com Essential Functions (Responsibilities): Momentive Performance Materials, a leading producer of specialty silicones, organofunctional silanes and silicone elastomers, has an opportunity in its Technology Analytical Department in Shanghai China for an analytical Chemist. Specific responsibilities include: • Planning and execution of laboratory analytical projects, from definition of customer needs through assistance with timely analysis and report generation of analytical results. • Effective management of multiple analytical projects, ensuring clear alignment of goals and deliverables with business and market needs • Clear communication and reporting of laboratory activities Qualifications/Requirements: • Doctorate in Chemistry with 2+ years working experience preferred, or MS Degree with 5+ years Industrial Analytical laboratory experience. • Demonstrated skills in analytical test method development, hands-on operation of modern analytical instrumentation such as chromatography, elemental analysis, spectroscopy, thermal analysis, and specialized sample preparation techniques. • Strong background in elemental analysis (ICP-OES, ICP-MS) and GC/GC-MS is a plus. • Familiarity with standard laboratory techniques, including structural characterization and related analytical techniques • Working knowledge of PC applications (word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, etc.) • Willingness to travel up to 5% to learn first hand from customers their needs for qualitative analysis. • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously and work in a cross-functional global team environment • Excellent oral and written communications skills in Mandarin and English • Demonstrated ability to follow all safe work practices guidelines • Good Team player Desired: • Familiarity with GC, GC/MS, GPC, IR, ICP, XRF, HPLC • Experience in organic polymer and silicone analysis and characterization • Solid background in Chemistry and with 5+ years of experience in an industrial analytical lab • Working knowledge of materials and surface characterization techniques • Self-motivated individual with high level of technical curiosity |
