[求助] Elsevier的期刊投稿后编辑说没有符合标准的Scholarship，被拒稿了，什么意思。。。

Elsevier的LUP期刊投稿后编辑说我的文章很好让他耳目一新，还让我改说好希望再见到我投他们， 于是欣然改完再投，这回说我没有符合标准的Scholarship，结果彻底被拒稿了，什么意思，之前说文章棒欣赏我，改好却因为Scholarship就拒稿了。。。 Scholarship？？？这东西当什么讲啊我晕。。。 下面我把原话发过来，谁看看Scholarship当什么讲啊，说好的修改呢怎么会拒稿啊： While your study topic fits within the aims and scope of our journal, the quality of the scholarship does not meet the standards we require in order to send it out for a full peer review. Therefore I must reject it at this initial stage of review. The peer review process places high demands upon experts in the field, and for an international journal such as ours we must be very selective in imposing upon reviewers who give freely of their time.
