【2014-12-05】Micro/Nanoscale Fluid Flow and Heat Transfer【SCI】

Micro/Nanoscale Fluid Flow and Heat Transfer Call for Papers Recent advances in micro/nanoscience and technology have promoted a rapid development in micro/nanofluids (e.g., liquid crystals, colloidal suspensions, animal blood, and exotic lubricants) and micro/nanofluidic devices (e.g., pumps, actuators, sensors, reactors, and heat exchangers). A fundamental understanding of physical aspects of micro/nanoscale convection, which may deviate from those of macroscale (or conventional) convection, is required for further progress. We invite overviews and original papers describing current and expected advances in the area of micro/nanoscale fluid flow and heat transfer. Potential topics include, but are not limited to: Modeling and simulation Single phase flow and heat transfer Multiphase flow and heat transfer Phase-change flow and heat transfer Non-Newtonian flow and heat transfer Compressible flow and heat transfer Flow and heat transfer influenced by external forces (gravitational, rotational, magnetic, and thermocapillary forces) Flow and heat transfer influenced by micro/nanoscale structures (tissues, cells, crystal grains, nanoparticles, nanowires, and gratings) Interdisciplinary areas in fluid flow and heat Before submission authors should carefully read over the journal’s Author Guidelines, which are located at http://www.hindawi.com/journals/amp/guidelines/.
