Section 2.2.6: It seems the evaluation system follows some criteria (completeness, min, max, sigma etc.) similar to those presented in a recent IEEE PAMI paper. I recommend the authors make a close review of this paper in this section: "Unsupervised segmentation of color-texture regions in images and video," IEEE Transactions on Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence (PAMI).
