Electroplating industry is an industry which is related to our livelihood. At the same time, it has the character of high water consumption and high pollution. Due to the different electroplating process, the quality of wastewater, its features and types are varied. In this paper, based on the treatment status and the facts that electroplating wastewater containing chromium, cyanide, heavy metals and acid-alkali, we narrate the methods, advantages and existing problems of common treatment to guide practice and make the electroplating wastewater discharge standards.
