关于Materials and Design的技术审查 已有2人参与

最近投稿Materials and Design，大约一周后收到了技术审查，给出的评语如下： Comments: Language: * In its current state, the level of English throughout your manuscript does not meet the journal's desired standard. Please check the manuscript and refine the language carefully. Technical: PASS （是否表示技术审查通过？既然通过了，为什么语言还要修改润色呢？） 大致意思可能是说，英语水平不符合该期刊的要求和标准，让我认真修改并对语言进行润色。但是技术审查编辑似乎没有给出具体的修改意见或建议。我自认为书面英语表达还算规范（下文给出了该稿件的摘要，各位帮忙把把脉吧），之前在Construction and Buliding Materials上发表过论文，评审专家还夸奖了我的英语表达水平，说论文读起来感觉很好，写得较为流畅。现在这个期刊突然给出这个意见，我感觉莫衷一是，关键是没有给出具体的修改建议。请各位大侠高人多加指点。非常感谢大家的帮助！ "ABSTRACT: Compressive strength is the most commonly used property for characterizing performance of cement-based materials (CBM). For the purpose of predicting compressive strength, it has been correlated to semi-adiabatic temperature evolution induced by early-age hydration of CBM. In this study, semi-adiabatic temperature evolutions and compressive strength developments of a series of mortar and concrete mixtures have been experimentally investigated. The results indicated that, the both properties are strongly dependent on composition of comentitious materials and water-cementitious materials ratio. Estimated results of temperature rise and compressive strength from modified equations match well with the measured data. A general linear relationship between compressive strength and peak value of temperature rise is presented and verified. The linear correlation is not fundamentally affected by mixture components and proportions of CBM, but is influenced by initial and exposed temperature conditions. Predicting compressive strength of CBM from its early-age hydration-related temperature evolution will reduce actual test work." |
