Sensors for Mobile Internet of Things: Sensing, Control, Design and Application Call for Papers With recent advances in wireless sensing technologies and the explosive deployment of mobile requirement for different application scenarios of Internet of Things, the mobility trend would be to increase over the years to come and explosion soon. Mobile Internet of Things (MIOT) include nearly everything that can be accessed and communicated electronically anytime and anywhere, which is mainly composed of Machine-to-Machine communications (M2M) devices, such as sensors, users' portable devices, and RFID. Especially, sensors show that most major industrial and academic circles are developing and offering M2M devices for Internet of Things, including transportation, health, energy, payments, appliances, etc. The steady incensement of Internet of Things that are designed based on the mobility requirement, which is necessarily shifting the traditional wireless network architecture toward a distributed topology. Some open issues are related to theory, model, communication, and computation of the operation of mobile sensor networks or Internet of Things. However, the development of MIOT discovers a variety of opportunities and challenges. Due to the nature and features of MIOT, it bridges several research and application challenges in all areas of MIOT, including hardware and software design of sensors, mobile sensing topology in MIOT, mobile control theory, system and protocol design, theory and design of sensing devices for MIOT, deployment, applications and architectures, etc. This special issue focuses on recent advances in sensing, control, design, and application of sensors with special emphasis on the mathematical and application problems involving any stage of Mobile Internet of Things. Original, unpublished contributions and invited articles, reflecting various aspects of sensors for mobile Internet of Things, are encouraged. Potential topics include, but are not limited to: Mobility measurements and models, mobility trace analysis Measurements, models, and analysis for MIOT Advanced sensing technologies for sensors and actuators Advanced network architecture for MIOT Network and resource management techniques for MIOT QoS provisioning approach for MIOT Adaptive error control scheme based on MIOT Hardware design of sensors for MIOT Localization and tracking protocol for MIOT Signal or Image Processing Mechanism for MIOT Sensing system and protocol design of MIOT Applications and evolutions of MIOT Before submission authors should carefully read over the journal's Author Guidelines, which are located at https://www.hindawi.com/journals/js/guidelines/. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal Manuscript Tracking System at https://mts.hindawi.com/submit/journals/js/seco/ according to the following timetable: Manuscript Due Friday, 12 September 2014 First Round of Reviews Friday, 5 December 2014 Publication Date Friday, 30 January 2015 欢迎传感器、物联网硬件设计、体系结构和智能控制等领域虫友的优秀稿件! |
