论文评审有个奇怪的意见 已有8人参与

有个评审人给的意见： The paper presents a 3-step methodology to obtain ******. The authors are trying to sell this as a "new method". In fact, I would argue that none of the three steps is new, but rather taken from the literature. What is new is the combination of the three steps into a strategy that indeed yields some novelty, and, as the experiments show, also some value. I would caution the authors, however, not to oversell their methodology. It is a neat but rather incremental idea that appears to work relatively well for *** of rather limited extent and complexity. Nothing more, nothing less. 我不太明白的是：用或者整合现有的其他研究方法去实现某个科研目的，这种形式不是也可以成为新方法吗？请教高手应该如何应对？ |
