Awaiting AE recommendation的结果 已有3人参与

给自己一个记录，也是给以后有相同问题的朋友一个借鉴： Awaiting AE assignment（1天）---〉awaiting reviewer selection（4-5天）---〉awaiting reviewer scores（1-2天）---〉awaiting reviewer selection（5天）---〉awaiting reviewer scores（3天）---〉Awaiting AE recommendation（3周）---〉Awaiting EIC decision (2天) ---〉Results (Major revision) 结果是在Awaiting AE recommendation三周后，上个周五（1月24日）晚上出现Awaiting EIC decision，然后周日下午就出结果了。整个从投稿（2013年12月16日）到出结果(2014年1月26日)，一个月零一个星期的时间。 虽然是Major revision但是审稿人的意见不多，加起来一页纸左右的意见，包括一些writing style的意见。限时一个月提交更改。主编（副编）也没什么大的意见（全文如下），只是说按照审稿人的意见修改。 Comments from a senior member of the editorial team: The word count for this manuscript is excessive. Please refer to JAMIA guidelines for authors and keep the main text below 4,000 words. Online appendices can be used for extra materials. Data and software should be available for review. Associate Editor Comments to the Author: A revision of this manuscript will need, above all, to clarify the presentation so all details are clearly and concisely presented, in a jargon-free manner. This clarification may reveal some further concerns, beyond those expressed in the two reviews, regarding the methods and conclusions in the paper. As suggested by Reviewer 1, the adequacy of the sample size to support the study and its conclusions must be addressed in detail. Reviewer: 1 Comments to the Author Although the samples are not large , the size of the data is probably sufficient for the testing and validation of this approach. It was disappointing that neither the data nor the software appear to be shared, which is contrary to the generally accepted “open science” principles. ... ... Reviewer: 2 Comments to the Author Overall, xxx method is worth for journal publication despite the fact that xxx tools are mainly in-house MatLab operators ((Matlab 2013a, Mathworks Inc., Natick, MA, USA). ... ... 有几个问题和大家交流一下： 1。这个Major revision的时间也让我很困惑，以往如果Major revision一般会给3个月时间修改，但是这次只有1个月时间，一天也没有多给。请问这个正常么？ 2。 因为文章字数限制4000，我提交的文档有5000左右的文字，所以关于patient subjects的介绍可能没有那么详细，这个应该不是什么大问题吧？ 3。关于文章使用数据和软件，在提交的时候也没管我要啊！其实这个数据和软件（自己编写的）上传也没有什么问题。但是第二个审稿人好像对于软件由Matlab编写有些不满。。。可是我们组只是做研究为主，哪有时间去编写工业标准的软件。貌似主编（副编）也没有这方面要求，只是说要数据和软件进行review。请问大家有类似经验没有，他们真的会对代码进行review？所有的核心试验代码由个人编写，但是用了Matlab file exchange上的一些小工具，显示个漂亮的histogram图像什么的，没有问题吧？ 4。就现在的情况来看，大家觉得我这个文章被录用的几率大么？ 谢谢。 [ Last edited by samggyy on 2014-1-27 at 18:53 ] |
