N3- in complex 1 is EO-bridged with bridging bond lengths of Mn (4)-N (5) = 2.323 (8) Å, Mn (1)-N (5) 2.474 (6) Å, and bridge angle 81.6 degrees. N (5) for Mn (4) and Mn (1) ions are axial ligands, that is why bridge angle is so low . To the authors' knowledge, this is the lowest bridge of azide bridging complexes and N3-ion in the complexes 1 is almost a straight line with angle of 178.1 (10) o (N (5) - N (6)-N (7)). The scope of the other ligand bond lengths in the complexes are similal to reported literature. Shortest intermolecular distance between two metal atom was 2.9698 (13) Å and 3.1376 (14) Å. Due to the presence of a large number of lattice water, the complex molecules hydrogen bonding formed a three-dimensional network shown in Figure 5.4. |
