投到POLYMER CHEMISTRY的。按照要求回答审稿人的问题,同时编辑另找了一个审稿人,一下是审稿人的意见 The responses the authors made are quite difficult to follow, let alone the typos. Although the authors did diligent work to respond to each of the reviewer's comments, the authors failed to provide healthy scientific discussions. In particular, while examining references of the FT-IR study on CN stretching, I found that Jang's paper contains exactly the same sentences the authors provided. >Authors’ response: But we can not assign the exact cyano interactions, may be due to (1) additional cyano stretching from different modes of interaction because cyanophenyl can engage in various interaction modes, including CN···HC interaction and CN···CN dimerization, or (2) C ≡ C stretching due to the more asymmetric environment when cyano groups are engaged in intermolecular interactions. > >Jang’s paper (Chem. In fact, HBFePc does not even have a C-C triple bond! > In addition, unlike the authors' response, the change of physical properties in the aggregate state should be referenced against those of the isolated molecule (oligomer in this case). Furthermore, alteration of the assembly mode by adding additives (surfactants in this case) is important to unveil the driving force of the assembly, and therefore it should receive more attention. The authors claimed that they edited English for the whole manuscript, however I still do not see the result of such effort. There are many run-on sentences and grammatical errors. One select example is “Futhermore, intermolecular cyano interactions also existence by comparison the changes of FT-IR spectra in the CN stretching.”. > For the reasons described above, I do not support publishing this paper 。 我觉得审稿人有些过分。 大家觉得有没有必要和编辑申诉那 |
