International Graduate School onControl in Hangzhou

Dear Colleagues, We sincerely invite you to join us for the module of 2014 European Embedded Control Institute (EECI) International Graduate School on Control, which will be held in Hangzhou, a world-famous and ancient capital city of China, on March 24-28, 2014. You are welcome to register, and/or distributed the announcement among your friends, colleagues, and students who you think may be interested. Important information: Registration Due: December 21, 2013 Registration Fee: Free for masters; 150 EUR for PHD EECI IGSC website: http://www.eeci-institute.eu/IGSC2014 Note that EECI is a non profit organization, therefore any benefit (if any ) are re-used the year after for awarding grants to selected students. The module will focus on Nonlinear and Adaptive Control, which is instructed by world renowned professor Romeo Ortega (IEEE Fellow) in Yuquan Campus, Zhejiang University. Topics include: State feedback stabilization and adaptive control via immersion and invariance Output feedback adaptive control via immersion and invariance Applications in adaptive control Applications to electromechanical systems Open problems Please note that Hangzhou, known as the capital city of the Southern Song Dynasty, has a brilliant cultural heritage and is rich in sightseeing resources, e.g., West Lake, Lingyin Temple, Wu Town, Longjing Village, Thousand-island Lake etc. For more information about Hangzhou, please visit http://www.hangzhou.gov.cn/.
