Letter of Acceptance and Invitation

To Whom It May Concern,
The purpose of this letter is to provide a letter of acceptance and invitation from my University for Mr. ....... to stay at University of ....... I am pleased to confirm that Mr. ...... will spend one year, from August 2014 to August 2015, as a visiting scholar in my research laboratory, within the Center for ......, at the University of ....... As a visiting, Mr. ....... will work on the synthesis and applications of ........ Mr. ....... will be expected to collaborate in ongoing projects in my group, working with other members of my group under my supervision.
...... has obtained financial support provided by China Scholarship Council (CSC) which is sufficient to cover his living expenses and medical insurance during his stay in the University of ....... His expenses in the US, including travel, living and medical insurance for the duration of his visit will be fully covered by the CSC. There is no tuition requirement for visiting scholars. I will not provide any financial support for his visit, my regular research grant funding will cover any supplies and other expenditures that he will need for your research work.
