南方科技大学化学系钟龙华课题组招科研助理(RA)[长期有效]

Sc. (1st Hon.), M.Phil. and Ph.D. degrees in the Hong Kong University of Science & Technology. He investigated reaction mechanisms of metal-catalyzed reactions under the supervision of Prof. Yun-Dong WU. He moved to a renowned research group of Prof. Keiji Morokuma in Fukui Institute for Fundamental Chemistry, Kyoto University in 2006. He has applied multi-scale simulations for complex systems, often collaborated with first-class research groups, gained many independent research experiences, as well as guided students from Tokyo University & Kyoto University and post-docs. of Morokuma’s group. He has long devoted to investigate reaction mechanisms of metal-catalyzed reactions, enzymes and photochemistry/photobiology, along with 25 SCI international papers (including 11 J. Am. Chem. Soc. paper and 1 Wiley interdisciplinary review paper), and 3 Wiley book chapters: more than 520 ISI citations (the citations excluding self-citations: ~500; H-index: 14). Also, he proposed some new reaction mechanisms and insights for hydrosilyation/alkynes-insertion (Wu-Trost mechanism), tryptophan dioxygenase, firefly bioluminescence and photoactivatable fluorescence proteins. In addition, he involved in the development and application of new non-adiabatic ONIOM molecular dynamics simulations to study photodynamics of photobiology. He has joined South University of Science & Technology of China (SUSTC) in 2013 as associate researcher & principal investigator, to build a high-quality and high-level research group. His group has a tight exchange, collaboration and education with Lab of Computational Chemistry & Drug Design, Perking University Shenzhen graduate school, as well as will visit and collaborate with world-class groups. We currently recruit several research assistants, who have strong interests in simulations on complex systems, striving for academic excellence, facing challenges and pursuing a doctor degree in SUSTC.
