Optics letters 一个星期内被拒，求看编辑意见 已有5人参与

上个礼拜投稿的，今晚收到决定的。显示有Peer Review，但是看不到审稿人什么的任何信息，回给老板的电子邮件里面也没有审稿人的评价。估计是直接被编辑直接挂掉的，就留下了一下一段话： After careful consideration of your manuscript, I have determined that it is not suitable for publication in Optics Letters. A paper is acceptable for publication in Optics Letters only if, in addition to being correct technically and reporting new and important result to the field, meets the criterion for need for rapid publication. Neither from the contents nor from the motivation part, missing in the introduction, can I conclude that there is a need for rapid publication of this manuscript. “ Neither from the contents nor from the motivation part, missing in the introduction, can I conclude that there is a need for rapid publication of this manuscript. ”这句话是不是说编辑在看了 introduction就觉得文章不够新，而没有看后面的内容了啊？ 这句话翻译过来是什么意思啊？ |

不用申诉了，浪费时间 editor 看完introduction ，不会不扫一遍正文 听说现在OL editor很少直接据稿，多少送出去，让reviewer据 楼主这种情况：1）倒霉遇到tough的editor; 2) 东西level不够OL 即使遇到nice的editor，被reviewer据也是大概率，还浪费楼主时间 经验谈：OL editor直接拒稿的，将一个档次的OE, JLT, JOSA B, 应该也悬了，不怕浪费时间可以试，毕竟文章有人review也能进步 想省时间，直接降2个档次到oc, ao, ptl 试试 [ Last edited by smpp111 on 2013-10-30 at 22:32 ] |
