[交流] Advanced materials和 Advanced engineering materials差距也太大了啊!

最近颇为不顺，精心撰写了一篇文章，投到Science四天被拒，未送审，就说文章太专，版面有限；遂改投Nature Materials，挺了18天，以为送了，结果收到拒信，说很抱歉，由于在外开会，耽误了，也说太专业，版面有限；最后改投Advanced Materials，过了20天，收到拒信如下：

Thank you for submitting your manuscript "xxxxxxxxxx" (adma.xxxxxxxx) to Advanced Materials.
Unfortunately, we are not able to consider it further for publication in Advanced Materials because we believe the manuscript is too specialised. As an alternative I have instead discussed your manuscript with the editors of an Advanced Materials sister journal and, to save you the trouble of resubmitting your manuscript elsewhere, we can arrange for your manuscript to be peer reviewed in the following journal:
Advanced Engineering Materials
To avoid unnecessary delays in the handling of your manuscript we ask that you make your decision before 07 Oct 2013. If you wish to transfer your manuscript after that date please contact the editorial office of your selected journal directly by email.
We hope nonetheless that this decision will not deter you from future submissions to Advanced Materials.

心理落差较大，请教各位大牛，如何选择为好?本人倾向再试一下PRL，实在有些不甘心，投入的精力太多了，期望太高，难道这就是理想和现实的距离!谢谢各位。请大家多给意见，别光灌水啊，谢谢！

我觉得楼上有一定的误导性啊 Advanced Material 跟PRL跟Acta Mater完全是不同领域的杂志啊。。

AM偏应用，需要做出来的材料的性质非常牛或者是搞个什么benchmark才行。。PRL偏物理，非常看重对现象的深入分析和理解。。Acta Mater是传统金属类的老大就不用说了。。不过他家也发综合类科学的（multidisciplinary science）。。
肯定不能说被哪家拒了投另一家绝对稳或者是没戏。具体还是要看楼主文章的特点。。

另外，如果楼主文章里面有好东东的话，肯定不能按AM编辑的来。。通常他们拒了之后推荐的都是自家的杂志。。楼主要改投的话得自己好好琢磨琢磨。。编辑推荐的杂志基本上可以忽略了。。祝楼主好运！
