It depends on how you listen to music and what kind of music you would like to listen.In my opinion,listening music is a process of relaxing youself ,you may improve you English in this process.

you should have a tape and learn to read followed the tape again and again.
you must speak English like the foreigner,you have the able to listen them.
I suggest the New Concept English 2 and 3.
The important thing is perseverance.

You can also watch more American dramas,cuz I do this all the time,and it has been very helpful for my listening .There is one thing I gotta mention: once you start to do so,you should stick with it,sometimes,if you dont have so much time to watch it,you can just listen it while do your own thing.Anyway,good luck for ya!
