also confirms you are going to join a research group. I am satisfied that the type of activity you will be undertaking falls under the Tier 5 category as a sponsored researchr, where the higher education institution you are coming to work at will be your sponsor.Such formal research projects are those hosted but not necessarily funded by a UK research institution including universities, non-commercial research organisations,charitable organisations and national research councils.The sponsored researcher fills a research post and works under the full of partial control of the institution Sponsored researchers can be funded from sources in the UK or overseas.As such I am satisfied that the purpose of your
visit does not fall under the academic visitor category. I am therefore not satisfied that you are genuinely seeking entry to the United Kingdom as an academic visitor for a limited period 46G(i) and (ii) or that the purpose of your visit is to carry out one or more of the activities allowed for under paragraph 46G(iii).
I have therefore refused your application because I am not satisfied, on the balance of probabilities, that you meet all of the requirements of the above paragraph(s) of the Immigration Rules. |
