Research opportunity for PhD student in biomedical engineering

The Yaping Dan research group at UM-SJTU Joint Institute of SJTU focuses on the cutting-edge topic of nanoelectronics. The goal is to extend Moore's Law and solve the existing and emerging issues in deep nanoscale integrated circuits by investigating single dopants in low-dimensional electronic devices.

Qualification:

Graduating undergraduates or Master students in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Materials Science, Biomedical Engineering or other related majors. The successful candidate should bring experience, enthusiasm and dedication to the group. A strong drive to learn new knowledge is essential.

Opportunities and Challenges:

The research project is quite interdisciplinary, which involves electronics, physics, materials sciences, chemistry and biochemistry. The successful candidate can explore various research fields and gain abundant knowledge and research skills.

这个主要是针对2014届硕士研究生或者已经获得硕士学位的。只需要提出申请，不需要考试。上海交大的最低要求在这里可以找到：

目前，密西根学院还有几个名额，想招收材料或化学方面的老师主要是但亚平老师。

但老师的研究主要集中在纳米电子学方向，研究包括纳米线光电晶体管，单个原子的晶体管等。部分研究涉及硅片表面的化学修饰，急需有材料或化学背景的学生加盟。
