I never worry about my reading but i know many people around have the same problems as you have. In my part, the essence of this problem is your "understanding" about the whole passage. You said that you can understand the passages but can't choose the right answer. I must say that you just understand the sentence rather than the passage which doesn't simply consist of several sentences. Since you no problems of sentences understanding, you may try to think about and find out the main idea of an article once finish reading it.
