帮忙给翻译一下划线部分的意思，谢谢！

We can’t handle a 31 page paper per guidelines from the publisher. The length of the papers needs to remain below 12 pages. I can offer you up to an additional 12 journal pages (up to 24 pages) or equivalent to two papers but I am afraid that is about as high as we can go since otherwise, we would  have issues with the publisher.

24 pages 就相当于 two papers.  这是最多的页数了  否则他们和出版商间就有问题了  意识也就是最多最多(as high as we can go)24pages,
