【2013-5-1】SCI专刊征稿 -PROMET - Traffic&Transportation

Special Issue: “Swarm Intelligence in Transportation Engineering” PROMET – Traffic & Transportation is a scientific journal in the field of transportation science and technology. The journal publishes comprehensive, high-quality, scholarly research that covers mentioned field in the area of technical sciences. We are organizing a special issue of the journal which will collect papers that reflect the current state of the art and prospective of Swarm Intelligence in Transportation Engineering. Recently, swarm intelligence (SI) has attracted much attention of researchers and has also been applied successfully to solve complex real-world problems in transportation. However, for large and complex problems, SI algorithms often consume much computation time due to stochastic features of the search approaches. Therefore, there is a potential requirement to develop efficient algorithms and to find solutions for real-world applications with limited resources, time and money. We invite researchers and investigators to contribute original papers as well as review papers on the topics of SI and application of SI algorithms in transportation engineering, especially real-life scenarios. Analytical and numerical methods in this field are welcome. All submitted papers will be subject to the journal’s standard peer review process. Criteria for acceptance include originality, contribution and scientific merit. Please check the author guidelines. Authors who are interested in contributing should submit their papers here.
