The primary responsibilities of the post-doc research fellow will involve: 1) evaluation of antibiotic resistance and antibiotic resistance genes with molecular microbiology techniques, 2) analysis of antibiotics using analytical chemical equipment, 3) help mentor Ph.D. students and research engineers, 4) apply for and manage research projects. The candidate must possess a Ph.D. degree in a relevant field such as molecular microbiology, environmental microbiology, or environmental engineering. The candidate should have a record of research productivity and strong communication skills. The initial appointment is for one year and may be renewed for additional four years subject to the performance and research progress. The salary and benefits are competitive and commensurate with experience.
