投稿悲剧了，主编的信什么意思

投了两篇文章，都被拒了，给的信如下： Your paper has been rejected prior sending it to potential reviewers for the following reasons: I am not convinced that this manuscript is well suited for this journal in its current form. Judging from previous work in the field that you reference in the manuscript, there appears to be little related work that has been published recently in our journal. I am afraid that you may not reach the targeted audience. The authors are encouraged to consider a more appropriate publication. 貌似是说我没引用该刊物的文献。不知道这个是委婉的拒绝，还是真的因为这个原因被拒的。 有必要给稿件后面补充上几篇该刊物的文献重投吗？ |
