温度、压力和电导率是表征海水性能最主要的三个物理量,研究海水电导率的分布与变化,有助于人们深入研究海水电磁特性及化学组成。海水的电导率大体说来正比于海水的含盐量,对于海水电导的研究,一开始就和海水电导测盐法紧密相联。常规的海水电导率的测量沿用现场传感器方法,受限于平台,很难满足海洋变化的时空同步的要求,而现有的海洋盐度卫星遥感测量技术难以突破观测精度与空间分辨率的双重制约。

Temperature, pressure and conductance are the three most important physical quantities of the superficial characteristics of seawater property. Studying the distribution and changes of seawater conductance is conducive to in-depth studies of electromagnetic property and chemical organization of seawater. Generally speaking, seawater conductance is in direct ratio to salt capacity of the seawater, so studies of seawater conductance are closely related to the practice of measuring salt capacity through seawater conductance. Conventional measurements of seawater conductance rely on on-spot sensors, which are restricted to platforms and thus difficult to maintain the synchronism of the changing space and time of the sea. While current satellite remote sensing technology in measuring salt capacity cannot transcend the double restrictions of observation accuracy and spatial resolution.

Seawater conductivity is one of the three major physical quantities of the seawater ,namely T(Temperature)、P(Pressure)and C(Conductivity ).Hence to research the distribution and variation of seawater conductivity can facilitate a better knowledge of seawater’s electromagnetic property and its chemical composition. Generally speaking, seawater conductivity is directly proportional to its saline capacity, which offers us a good way to conduct the research of seawater conductivity in the first beginning. Traditionally, seawater conductivity is achieved by the sensor on the spot. Restricted by the spot, the result is hard to be in line with the variation of the space time continueum. Whereas the current popular ocean salinity satellite remote sensing technology can not break through the dual limitations of the spatial resolution and observation accuracy.
