在投国外杂志时，总有一段话描述对表格的要求，如：Tables
Number tables consecutively with Arabic numbers in accordance with their appearance in the text.
Place footnotes to tables below the table body and indicate them with superscript lowercase letters.
Avoid vertical rules.
我不明白，表格必须要脚注吗，这个脚注主要干什么的？我的表格就是一个表头，然后一个三线表就行。但是这里要求脚注就没明白。
