IQ or EQ?

Most of us knows what is the meaning of IQ and EQ. However, I am afraid few of them can tell the specific differences between them. As it is known that IQ refers to Intelligence Quotient and EQ equal to Emotion Quotient. From the meaning of these two terms, IQ is related to intelligence, whereas, EQ is a subject that links to emotion. The major difference between them lays emphasis on the mental abilities on the understanding of emotion and information. The emotion is obviously link to EQ and information is associated with IQ. In my experience, it is pretty hard to find someone with both high EQ and great IQ. Most of the time, people has average EQ and IQ, but one of them maybe higher than another one. For some people with high EQ, jobs related to politics, language and communication are more suitable. If some people have high IQ, more practical works such as scientists, skill workers and analysis would be more appropriate. Wish it can help. |
