Air conditioner

In summer, it was very hot in eastern area as usual, therefore we had to turn to the air conditioner in the lab, otherwise it was too hot to stay, let alone work. The director of lab required to set the temperature no less than 27 degrees. I thought that was reasonable for saving power and health, but you know, set the higher temperature meant the less cooling efficiency. So, the funny things happened. Every morning, the workers set the temperature at 24 degrees. When the director came to the lab and found the setting was low, he would reset parameter to 27 degrees by himself worldlessly. The others pretended see nothing. When the director went out the lab, they renewed the parameter at once. When the director came back again, to him surprise everytime, he found the temperature setting turn down automatically. After many times of the same experiences, the director made a conclusion that the air conditioner was out of order. What happened the next was the director called the after-service of manufacturer and required their repairman to check it. Certainly, when the repairman came there, he couldn't find where went wrong. |

| It's definitely a funny story. Maybe the story reflects that your director is a kind man for he is not yelling at you. Now it's winter, I can imagine the scene that you guys do experiments in thick clothes. A suitable candidate for Nobel Peace Prize, haha. |
