Which city is the best tourism destination in your eyes?

Touring is already a part of our life now. So, often, we will go to another city or place to visit the landscape or enjoying the buildings or local foods there. However, too often, we are conftonted with unfair things, such as extremely expensive food as those met in Sanya, or bad local residents or tourism guides as those in Hong Kong or Shaanxi. So, it is better that we choose a friendly city when we plan for a tour. Thus, the experience of people who have ever been there is very valuable. Sorry that I can not outline many cities. It is better that you tell other worms why do you like that city, and even better that you can share some of your experience there. Thank you!   The pity is that, until now, nobody chose Ninggo, Yinchuan and Urumqi. I think, Ningbo is a beautiful city, with so many rivers, southern China-style buildings, it is the second largest city in Zhejiang Province, while Zhejiang has one of the best economy in China. Ningbo has a long history, it contributed much to the culture of China. Many famous scholars were born and grew up in this city. Yinchuan, is the capital of Ningxia, it lies beside the Yellow River. People there are mainly Hui ethnic group. This is much different from other cities. Although Hui people speak Chinese, their tradition is different from the Han Chinese. Food there is one purpose why people want to visit this city. Another reason is the cultue. Urumqi, the capital of Xinjiang, I think, is one of the cities most Chinese from east and south should visit. In this city, you may fee the culture diversity of China. Different language, different food, different buildings, and sweet fruits, different climate. You can see the ice mountains dozens of kilometers away from the city. In summer, it is not very hot, while winter is long and cold. Also, Urumqi is a beautiful city.  [ Last edited by winter_north on 2013-6-6 at 21:40 ] |

| Actually I have not visited too many places so far I just visited hangzhou and suzhou I think Suzhou is a beautiful city and many places of interests here people here are very warm-hearted and so friendly The beautiful landscape here is so charming If you come here with your camera you can take many beautiful pictures |

As a Chinese, I always aim to visit BeiJing. Unfortunately, I was in BeiJing for two weeks, but no fun no tour, work from morning till midnight, and went to and from Post office department.I always dream that one day I can place a visit, a total leisrure visit throughoutly. |

I have voted for Xiamen. I like the city. It is very very beautiful. There are enchanting golden beaches and wonderful local food. The city streets are clean and tidy, the air is fresh, people there live a happy life.  |

One of my friends has told me she woul like to go to Nanjing again in the near future, I don't know why, she just said the city made her feel great, and I think I will go and check some day. Well, for me, the most impressed city I've ever been is Hangzhou, the landscape is so beautiful, it seems that green plants are surronding it, and the city is so clean. Most importantly, there are always paths connected arround the hills, I can often go and brace the nature as I like.  |

I think I will choice Sichuan, I want to visit Jiuzhaigou National Park, I saw lots of its pictures from internet, it's so beautiful. But as we know,there are so many people in china,sometimes some of us will throw waste in scenic spot, this is such a regrettable thing. So guys, when we are touring in someplace,please don't dispose your wastes  |

The ancients said "read ten thousand books ,travel ten thousand miles road ". I wander whether I translate it correctly ,but what I 'm sure is it means the importance of traveling in one's life. If you want me to choose the city I like most in China . I would like to answer Hangzhou . Since I was born in north part of China . I really enjoy the different scenery in southern China . A famous poet said : to memorize the Jiangnan,the highlight is in Hangzhou. I went to Hangzhou this spring, the natural beauty and rich culture deeply impressed me. The west lake,the Broken Bridge, the White embankment ,the Li Feng tower are all uncanny workmanships . In this city , I saw the pefect combination of nature and human beings . I like Hangzhou most! |

| I have read an article saying that xisuanbanna would be the most destination for both home and abroad where I didn't visit to. It is a little pity for me not visiting that city, but I would love to be there some day. For more than twenty years' life, there are lots of place that I have visited, such as Hangzhou, huangshan, dalian, changchun,nanjing,shanghai,beijing,xiamen,etc. Among these places, beijing would be the most destination for me. And why? Firstly, beijing is one place for many emperors living. There are so many places of interest, such as the imperial palace, Great wall, Tiananmen, ect. Secondly, this is the capital of our motherland where there are many good top universities, like Tsinghua and Peking which I am longing for. Of course, that is just my personal opinion. There is a dream for me to visit at least a city of a province in our motherland which is full of challange. |

I put a choice here first. I like the city of Nanjing, people there are friendly, and there are many places in Nanjing that deserve your visiting, such as the Moseleum of Zhongshan, the old President's Mansion (or other names, you know, it is Zongtongfu in Chinese), and the old buildings along West Beijing Road from the Guomindang era.  |
