       又是一年中秋月圆时，中秋节除了家人团聚赏月之外，当然少不了各式各样的美食了。中秋，月圆，因而人们最熟悉的美食不过是月饼了，看着圆圆的月亮，咬上一口月饼……

你最喜欢哪种口味的月饼？

目前市面上的月饼基本上可以分为传统月饼跟创新月饼两种。
传统月饼：(Traditional styles)
        传统月饼有大家说的“广式月饼”(Cantonese-style mooncake)，还有“苏式月饼”(Suzhou-style mooncake)，“京式月饼”(Beijing-style mooncake)，“滇式月饼”(Yunnan-style mooncake)等。

        最常见的月饼口味有Sweet bean paste(豆沙)，Jujube paste(枣泥)，Lotus seed paste (莲蓉)，Five kernel(五仁)。那么，你知道“五仁”是哪五种“仁”吗？他们是指：花生(peanut)，核桃(walnut seed)，瓜子(watermelon seed)，杏仁(almond)，松子(pine nut)。
创新月饼：(Contemporary Styles)
       除了这些我们从小吃到大的传统月饼品种，近年来，越来越多的个性化月饼走上了市场。
    有些厂家推出了“低糖月饼”(low-sugar mooncake)“无脂月饼”(fat-free mooncake)，“冰皮月饼”(snow skin mooncake)等。还比如说有名的哈根达斯冰激凌月饼（icecream mooncake）。

如何自制美味月饼？

Main Ingredients:主要原料
    250g Icing Sugar;冰糖250克
    125g Rice flour (fried);米粉125克
    50g Crisco;罐头黄油 50克
    a few drops banana essence;一些香蕉香精
    110g cool water (boiled);凉开水110克
    a few drop green coloring;一些绿色着色剂
    1kg Red bean paste or lotus paste;红豆面团或者莲花面团1千克
    Salted egg yolk (optional)咸蛋黄（可选）
Method:方法
    1) Sift the rice flour and the icing sugar into a mixing bowl. Mix them well.
      2) Mix the water, coloring and banana essence thoroughly.
      3) Make a well in the centre of the flour. Pour in the liquid mixture and crisco.
      4) Stir quickly with a wooden spoon. Keep the dough aside for 20 to 30 minutes.
      5) Cut the dough into small round pieces.
      6) Prepare the filling into small balls.
      7) Put a portion of the filling into the centre of the dough and seal it up.
      8) Roll it with some fried rice flour and place the dough into the mold, press it.
      9) Let the dough out of the mold carefully. You have a mooncake.
