1 It should be confirmed that these mentioned intermolecular interactions are anion-pi interactions rather than van der Waals interactions or pi-pi interactions. For example, in 1, the distance of Cl1 anion to the tetrazole ring centroid is 3.360 A, which is equal to the sum of Cl1 anion and N atom of van der Waals radii. The separation distances between the Cl1 anion and the N atoms of the tetrazole ring are almost beyond 3.360 A. The sole observation of an anion-pi close contact should not be sufficient to justify presence of the anion-pi interaction. It should at least be accompanied by theoretical calculations.
