The most evident proof of this plagiarism and falsification of results is Figure 3.2. The 2 pictures of locusts are copied from the paper of Sas et al. (2007). The authors used Photoshop to add a grass background to the original pictures by Sas et al. Look at the figures: the grass background in both pictures is exactly the same, which is absolutely impossible if one makes real pictures. The only difference is that the right figure is somewhat larger than the left one. Thus the treatment that the authors claim to have performed does not exist. My impression is that most of the text is copied from published papers and/or Ph.D. theses. I doubt very much that the authors did the experiments they claim to have executed. I think the results are fake. This paper should not be published under any circumstances. |
