[交流] At the opposite of the red carpet

Countless days have we been counting.
Now, honey, we are almost there.
Expectations can be charming,
like exertions are sometimes inviting.
Look, darling,
for the time being,
scarlet carpet extends,
smothered by floral brilliance.
Beautiful wishes flutter and swirl like butterflies.
I’m always there for you,
for our boundless bliss,
untapped and unstudied.
Delicate bells,
jingle in every joyous note,
and exquisite candlelight,
flickers in each marvelous shade.
A solemn oath will I make,
when I march proudly in others’ glare,
because I know,
my beloved,
where the stretching carpet ends,
stand you.
我们己有过长长的等待，
现在只剩下最后的一段了。
等待是美的，正如奋斗是美的一样。
而今，铺满花瓣的红毯伸向两端，美丽的希冀盘旋而飞舞。
我将去接你，和你同去采撷无穷的幸福。

well, in my opinion, both expectation and exertion are painful rather than beautiful
