Abstract : This paper conclued the research progress of diterpenoid compounds of chemical constituents and pharmacologicalon in the last 15 years domestic and abroad ,by looking up and pored over documents related to reporting .Diterpenoid compounds have a wide range of biological activity such as anticancer, antibacterial anti-inflammatory, Jianwei, clearing, liver, antioxidant and cardio-cerebro-vascular diseases particularly notable . For the new composition of isodon , chemical structure and pharmacological activities of diterpene compounds, we made a summary of the research methods and did a future prospects, providing the scientific basis for the development and utilization of isodon.
