Pg 7, Lns 8 & 11: Please, define when a spore was considered germinated. In addition,
it is not mentioned how germ tube length was measured (??).

OK, Spore germination was defined.
However, which reference scale was used to measure spore length?

I could not see where references were added. Kin et al and Liu et al must come after
“(prior to germination)” to justify collection up to 6 h.
