Abstract:
Based on Website skills, the interior reservation system of a hotel is the natural product of social development. The interior reservation system can offer customers with visual art images, when the website is specifically functioned. This makes the customers can order their meals as shopping in the supermarket, which offers them more options and freedom. In this sense, it is both practical and of social meaning to design and develop a interior reservation system with simple and friendly user interface, and high safety.
This paper first introduced the development of on-line reservation system and the current situation of interior reservation system based on a hotel, and presented the objective and sense of developing the interior reservation system. This system is built by both Visual Studio 2008 and SQL Server 2005, and program language is ASP.NET. An interior reservation system not only helps to manage the information of customers’ reservation, but also makes the integration of housekeeping management, customer management, order management, query management and checkout management possible. This brings convince to both the customers and workers of the hotel. The management and maintenance of the hotel becomes more continent and quick. The hotel with such a system can cut off the cost of manpower and material resource, and enjoy better management system, which will lead to a higher competitive power in the market.
