第一次做助理编辑，有些不知所措哦 已有8人参与

在一本期刊上发表了两篇文章后，编辑助理发来的这样的一封信，感觉是让我做联合编辑（ Associate Editor），工作任务是Please ask the reviewers to send the review report in Word as this makes it possible to copy and paste the reviews into one combined report.。 第一次做这个工作，有下面几个问题，请经历过的兄弟姐妹给讲解一下： 1、reviewer需要我来选择吗？ 2、我本人需要review吗？ 邮件附上供参考。 --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dear Prof. **, Attached you will find the manuscript in electronic format, "***********". The manuscript has been submitted for possible publication in the ******* Journal. Log number MU2012-44 has been assigned to this paper. Please reference all future correspondence with this number. The review form for the paper is also attached. I believe the paper is sufficiently related to your interests, and ask that you serve as an Associate Editor. Please send your Associate Editor's report and referee reports by 6/10/2012 to my Administrative Assistant through E-mail at ****m@***.edu. I urge you to meet the deadline. Please ask the reviewers to send the review report in Word as this makes it possible to copy and paste the reviews into one combined report. Attached you will also find a Referee Confirmation Form.
