[求助] 为J1签证和探亲签证准备2019表等问题

我准备六月底去美国，6个月的公派，正在向对方学校申请DS2019表等材料，对方发信过来，有两个地方我还不太懂，给对方发信，好几天还没回。有没有哪位帮我看看。
因为我准备让老婆和孩子在暑假过去探亲，过去一个月时间吧，所以带来以下问题：
1.关于资金证明。
对于最低生活费的要求，CSC资助的费用，我自己刚好满足要求。对于老婆孩子需要另外出资金证明，必须银行证明吗，如果是需要什么样的证明？银行一般都知道吧。

Original, current documentation (bank statement, sponsor support letters, etc.) and certified translations if not originally in English, must be attached for all sources other than PSU. The current minimum living expenses are $1,200 per month for the Exchange Visitor, $600/month for a spouse, and $350/month per child (e.g., a J-1 Scholar coming for 6 months would need to demonstrate resources of at least $7200, and a family of 3 (spouse + child) for 12 months would need to show at least $25,800). By federal regulations, Forms DS-2019 for foreign nationals and/or their families cannot be issued unless adequate funding for the full period is documented.

2.医疗保险
三口人的医疗保险是在国内必须把保险买了吗？我觉得不需要，但前几天收到一个邮件，国内的某公司为出国留学设置医疗保险，又把我思路搞乱了。像探亲一两个月也得买半年的？
Insurance Requirement: Throughout their stay, J-1 Exchange Visitors and their dependents must carry medical insurance which meets Department of State requirements. Exchange Visitors will be required to certify compliance with this requirement when they check in at ISFVS. Failure to carry adequate health insurance will result in a violation of non-immigrant status and possible program cancellation.
