澳洲昆士兰大学Senior Lecturer 这么回复，有必要跟她一起申请基金么？ 已有20人参与

我情况比较弱，四篇3点的一作，另有挂名若干，当然在生物领域啥都不是。明年6月毕业。 联系了一个昆士兰大学的女的。其实感觉她也比较弱，文章没几篇。但广撒网就投了。这么回复的 Thank you for contacting me about possible positions in my laboratory. Certainly your experience is in the right field for you to do well in my group. Unfortunately I do not currently have funding for a post doc position. However, since you do not anticipate finishing your PhD until the middle of next year, this would give us time to prepare applications for funding for a post doc position. The Australian grants are due in Feb/March next year and it would be worth considering writing a proposal for these. Also there are some Australia-Chinese funding sources that come up from time to time. The University of Queensland also has a post doctoral scheme and applications for that would be due early next year as well. If you are interested in developing a proposal to do research in my lab, could you first ask your referees to send me a reference. 不知道她说的这些grant都是些什么样的类型，牛人们觉得我有必要和她一块试试这些申请么？我最怕时间又长，精力又费得多，最后成功率很低那种。。。澳洲吸引我的也就钱多了 |

大家的回复都好专业，拜谢拜谢 昨晚上一冲动，问了下她申那些基金的成功率有多大，这么回的 Yes funding is competitive here (as it is everywhere!). For the Australian research council grants funding rates are around 20-25%. That said you have a good publication record so you should have a very good chance – if you can focus on getting those extra manuscripts submitted so that they are accepted by Feb/March next year you will have a very strong CV. The UQ fellowships are also competitive, but your CV would certainly put you in the running to be successful. So the challenge is then to match your CV with a strong research proposal that clearly links to your research background and the research we do in my group (again this seems like a natural combination). 她把我夸成一朵花，我心里就更发毛。。。这几年，她就在Science上发过一篇一页的小report，一篇9点多的水杂志，2篇3点多的，没啥好文章 |
