With adding Whisker In the composite materials ,on the one hand ,the process of friction contacts with convex peaks which formed by a large number of whiskers during the friction process of composite materials,these convex peaks assumed part of the load and friction ,which lead less contact between the aluminum matrix and balls, thereby protecting the substrate, reducing the wear rate of composite materials.on the other hand ,in the process of friction and wear,whisker are broken and formed a mechanical mixed layer which riched in Mg2B2O7 whisker under the pressure in the squeeze, this layer of materials help to reduce the wear rate of composite materials, effectively improved the wear resistance of composite materials.
