被拒的论文还能重新再投吗,如果可以,要注意些什么?

收到了拒信如下, 编辑: Dear xx I regret to inform you that the reviewers of your manuscript have advised against publication. In the light of the comments made and the concerns expressed by the reviewers and the Specialist Editor I have decided to accept this recommendation. For your guidance, the reviewers' comments are included below. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to consider your work. Reviewer #2: About the abstract: "ICLAWMD ... can automatically implement the computation under different conditions." is not very clear. The availability of a procedure which automatically generates an ansatz for the conserved density using appropriate weights is a standard tools. I would not mention it so prominently. About section 1: The described program can surely be useful for a user who does not want to prepare an input file, who does not like a command line interface, who has Maple 13/14 installed and does not want to install other packages and who wants to work with a dedicated interface. For many users that will not be crucial but for some it may well be important. But what definitely is important are the many limitations of the package which should all be clearly mentioned in the overview and also that there are other programs which have none of them. Other programs are mentioned but it is left open whether they have the same limitations or not. If I am not wrong these are: - Systems to be investigated need to be polynomial. - Systems need to be of evolutionary form, i.e. one variable may appear only with first order derivatives and not combined with other derivatives, i.e. u_{tx} = ... is not possible and it must be possible to eliminate the u_t derivative algebraically to get u_t = ... . - Apart from the existence of a t-variable to have evolutionary form, the system is restricted to only three more variables. - Only conserved densities polynomial in the functions and their derivatives can be determined. - Independent variables may only appear polynomially in the conserved density. About section 3: To be able to work with a graphic interface is nice for a user but having to know 50 procedures, their names, interfaces and what they do is the total opposite. Section 3 lists some. In the text it is not stated whether they need to be known and called by the user or whether they are just part of the package and not to be called by the user. About section 4: The illustrative examples in section 4 hide the real involvement of the user. For example, system (37) involves a parameter alpha and (38) gives a conservation law for a specific value of alpha. That means, in the conservation law conditions alpha is one of the unknowns that is to be computed. But that means that the conditions are non-linear. Solving a polynomially non-linear algebraic system, even if overdetermined, is not always trivial. How is that handled in general? Does the user have to solve these systems? If not, does the system under guarantee not miss special solutions? I did not see a statement how that is done. Minor other comments: The English needs few minor improvements, for example, - page 5, line 38: 3-dimension --> 3-dimensional - page 9, line 30: 'For instance, the weights all equal to zero.' is not a sentence. Some places show that the authors did not do a careful last read, for example, - page 4, line 2: Othey ? - page 8, line 46: x --> x \lambda^{-w_z} - page 12, line 34: parameters. parameters. Summary: There are surely users which will be happy to be informed about the program and use it which speaks for a publication after the above mentioned improvements are made. On the other hand I do not see functionality which this program has which other programs do not have. I leave it to the editors to decide priorities in this case. 我想在程序上再增加一个小功能,然后继续投这家期刊行吗?不知道再投还要不要注意些什么,请大家给个建议。 |
