[求助] 投Mechanical Systems and Signal Processing，大家帮忙分析下意见~

今年3月24日投了Mechanical Systems and Signal Processing，顺利通过了第一轮的技术审查后，苦苦等了将近3个月，今天收到了主编发来的以下消息：
Dear Mrs. Wang,
   I have now examined your above referenced manuscript and unfortunately cannot accept it for publication in Mechanical Systems and Signal Processing.

   I regret that we are not able to be of help to you on this occasion, and I thank you for your interest in the Journal.

邮件的最后，还有以下的一段话：
Dear Dr. Wang,

I regret to inform you that your paper has been rejected from MSSP.
Whilst your work appears sound and thorough, it is difficult for me to find a true contribution to the field. I appreciate that your proposed algorithm is a novel method for dealing with vibrating pump data, but it is not clear that this method is superior to any existing methods.  Without reference to an existing "gold standard", it is impossible to evaluate your contribution.

   请问各位大侠，我这篇文章是不是就完全没有希望了？邮件后面的这段话貌似是责任编辑给的意见，然后杂志主编做出了拒稿的决定。文章貌似都没有送出去审稿啊。。。
这种情况大家有什么建议没有啊

苦等了3个月却等来的是这个。。。。

大牛您好！从责任编辑的意见里面，我似乎觉得他还是认为我的文章有新意的，因为责任编辑说“ I appreciate that your proposed algorithm is a novel method for dealing with vibrating pump data”。不知道这句话是不是表达了这个意思？还是只是责编的一句客套话？能不能帮忙详细分析一下责编的意见？看看我修改完后再投这个杂志希望大不大。因为我是第一次投国际期刊，没什么经验，所以只能拜托大家来帮忙分析一下了。谢谢！
