Abstract: A facile and efficient method that using styrene, methanol and carbon monoxide as reactants, palladium complexes prepared in-situ with dual phosphine ligand (S)-P-PHOS and acetylacetone as new chiral catalysts for the first time, with p-benzoquinone as an oxidant and p-toluenesulfonic acid as cocatalyst in methanol solvent for one-pot asymmetric three-carbonylation synthesis of Chiral 2 - oxo -3-- phenyl dimethyl glutarate. Results are compared with the existing literature, the reaction required significantly lower carbon monoxide pressure, the three carbonylation reaction conditions are mild. |
