about grammar in english learning

during my first 3 years of english learning, that is, my middle school years, i learnd almost all  the grammar i often used in the daily life;

in the subsequent  years,from senior high school to work, all i do is just commplementing a little grammar and mastering of much professional Eglish.

so i thought , grammar learning in your primal study makes much sense since solid grammar capability could guarantee a good understanding of sentence structure which may be very important to catch on what the speaker really wants to confer; on the other hand, it will lay a foundation for your future study in writing and reading. after all, in formal english communication, the folk need expressing exact and unambiguous information in a formal way whcih can be achieved by fixed and customary grammar framework

Thank you for sharing.

I'm poor in English.  I work hard on learning grammar, but I can't used them in easy sentences.  My English teacher once asked we to give some advices about her English teacthing at the end of the term, I told her that " I'm not good at English maybe due to my poor grammar, and why didn't you  explain the grammar detailed." Then she told me that the grammar is not emphasized in her English teacthing, and learning and speaking are more important than that, what is just like you said.   Thank you again. I hope I will find  the best way to learn English and enjoy it.
