| In conclusion, we propose a new route to obtain pyridines, pyrimidines and quinolines bearing a boronic acid group. Our original strategy was based on the formation of Grignard azine reagent and the particular reactivity of tris-trimethylsilylborate under mild conditions. Currently we are studying an extension to various substituted polyazines in view of their application to Suzuki cross-coupling reactions. |
